The fruit is first into mosas a smooth mass. Sometimes, you can add it directly to the skin but the mass occasionally need to thicken to drain away. Starch, oat flour and pectin are three options for this.
Starch works well for face masks made of fruit. Starch is cleansing and sucks up not only fat but also deep-seated dirt. Starch is not drying but a dry skin can benefit from the fatter oat flour.
Pectin is good for all skin types and seem caring and protective of your skin. It is sold in grocery stores and about 1-3 ml pectin required per dl masks.
AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) is the umbrella name of the fruit acids. AHA can counter acne and wrinkles. Fruit acids are found naturally in citrus fruits, apples, grapes and several other fruits.
All AHA acids works in a comparable manner, but can penetrate various deep down into the skin. AHA dissolves dead skin cells.
Tamarind, currants, grapes and apple contains all natural AHA. They can therefore be used in a face mask to prevent acne and prevent skin ages. The effect is not medicine because the concentration is low but together with other beneficial substances in fruits and face mask, they may still have some effect on regular use.
